FAQ-Update: Why are the effects of botulinum toxin short term?

Botulinum toxin will be degraded by the body over time. After botulinum toxin has been injected into the affected muscle, the effect occurs after approx. 3 to 4 days. The effective duration is individually different and will last between 2 to 4 months. In individual cases, it can even last longer or fade earlier.
